Hardwood Shutters
Hardwood shutters define your home with the look of master craftsmanship. Premium woods are slowly cured in a kiln drying chamber at low temperatures. The wood for each shutter is conditioned to the moisture content of the final installation location. This ensures that our shutters remain stable and close tightly for years to come. |
Alternative Wood Shutters
Less expensive than hardwood but still a high quality shutter with a traditional and elegant appearance. ● Resists fading, stains and warping ● Flawless fit, finish and function ● Extensive range of frame options |
Custom interior shutters can start as low as $17.50/sq ft. installed.

Plantation Shutters
Plantation shutters are “wider” than traditional shutters, and were originally installed on the outside of the window. In the 1950’s shutter manufacturers developed a plantation shutter that had the ability be installed on the inside of the home. Plantation shutters are very popular in the south due to their ability to efficiently block heat from entering the home, but still give the ability for the home owner to open them to have a view outside. Shutters tend to be much more durable than standard blinds as they are fixed to the window through a frame. Today’s plantation shutters come in many different styles and louver sizes. A popular size is 2 1/2 inches, but can get much larger
Traditional Shutters
“Traditional” shutters are not the same as plantation shutters. They have the smaller, narrower louvers and are more often found in North Eastern states. Traditional shutters are not as popular today as many people prefer to allow more light into the home when the shutter is open. They also do not give as much view to the outside when open as plantation shutters.
